Dialogue can be defined as “a conversation between two or more people ” or “an exchange of ideas or opinions” and that is the goal of The Dixon Dialogue. This is a place where I can share my thoughts, ideas and pictures but I also want to hear from my readers – so comment and comment often!
The Dixon’s: Bill and I have been married for 6 years and have two boys, Will and Thomasl. We also have the cutest dog ever, PepperAnn. We met in preschool, started dating in high school and got married in college! Since getting married we have lived in: Jackson, Chattanooga, Nashville and New York City.
Amber: One word pretty much describes my life right now “mom.” I love being a stay at home Mom and a job opportunity would have to be pretty sweet for me to consider giving up my current gig. The boys and I love to spend our days blogging, playing, taking pictures, reading books and chasing PepperAnn. When I am not being “mom” I enjoy decorating my home, scrapbooking, reading, learning to knit and watching TV. My favorite place in the world is NYC and I loved living there while I attended Columbia University. I am a social worker who is very passionate about social justice issues such as hunger, poverty, and modern slavery. But, I realize that none of these issues can be resolved without the world knowing salvation, hope and peace that only comes through our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Bill: My husband is awesome! Bill is very handy around the house, much more creative than I am and a digital media specialist nerd extraordinaire. He currently works for a music company here in Nashville and also has his own company, Dixon Media group. He loves his family more than anything in the world and for that I am very thankful.
Will: Will is the light of our lives! He is one big ball of energy that loves to play from the time he wakes up until the time he goes to bed. His favorite toys are his Disney sword, basketball, blocks and PepperAnn. He wants to constantly play in his “work room” and can sit and read books for an hour. He is learning new things everyday and it is fun to watch him learn and grow. This boy loves to eat everything and anything (except potatoes) but is a skinny minny! He also has the bluest eyes I have ever seen. He’s so cute!
Thomas: Thomas is our newest addition. He is only 2 weeks old and loves to sleep and eat. We love him so much and can’t wait to find out what his personality and likes will be.
