Two Brudhers
It is so funny how quickly and relatively easy Will adjusted to having a baby brother. Of course, he tests his limits but that is with everything – he’s 2! One of the cutest things Will does is lay down or sit beside wherever Thomas is and declare “two brudhers, two brudhers.” I think they’re the cutest two brothers I’ve ever seen.
Will was excited to share his bath toys and insisted that Thomas have at least 3.
Thomas was glad Will shared his bath toys.
Two brudhers drying off. I’m pretty sure Will was in the middle of shouting “two brudhers.”
And of course a little playing in Thomas’ bed after bath time.

Chuck E. Cheese
We may (or may not) have gone to Chuck E. Cheese’s two times this past weekend!
Honey came up Friday and Saturday to play with Will (and give me a little break.) On our way to Sam’s Club on Saturday Honey and Will decided it would be fun to stop and play. Will’s a pretty cheap date since he doesn’t like to actually ride the moving things just sit on them. But he did like winning tickets and picking out prizes!
On Monday, my friend Melina called to see if we wanted to go and play at Chuck E. Cheese. Of course! Will loves playing with the boys she keeps. We spent several hours playing and eating pizza. One of the skee ball machines malfunctioned while Will and I were playing and we won the grand prize- 117 tickets! Will and his friend also played an intense game of air hockey.

Happy 2nd Birthday Will!!!
I can’t believe that my “baby” is 2 years old today! He is so much fun these days and so funny. He loves playing with anything that has wheels, balls, puppies, Moo cow and still loves reading books. We celebrated his birthday Saturday with some of our family and friends. It was a fun day! The party was train themed and we gave Will a train table for his birthday. He loves it!

Thomas cake that Dana and I made.
Will’s friend Ellie brought over her ball house for the party. Will couldn’t wait for it to be set up so he jumped in the box of balls!
Singing “Happy Birthday” to the birthday boy.

Time to eat!

Time to open presents!

Baby Update & Busy Boy
Yesterday, I had a doctor’s appointment for the baby. And I am now officially in the 2nd trimester! (I also officially have swimmer’s ear. Ah, so that is why my ear has been hurting for weeks!) The doctor couldn’t find the baby’s heartbeat so we got to have another ultrasound
I was secretly happy that we got to see the baby again – even though it was scary for 1/2 a second when she couldn’t find the heartbeat. Plus, Bill was there and he was able to see the baby wiggling around for the first time.
I took a picture of the ultrasound picture – not the best quality but if you look close you can see the baby.
We had a fun, relaxing day today. Bill got up with Will and let me take an afternoon nap! We laid around this morning, ate lunch at McDonald’s and perused Lowe’s for our next home improvement project. This afternoon we played, played, played. Will was such a busy boy. This morning he collected several important things in the empty clothes basket: Disney World book, toothbrush holder, thermometer case, soap dish, and hairbrush. He pushed these things around in the basket all day. While Bill was grilling dinner Will pushed the basket to the middle of the yard, dump all his “treasures” out, push the basket back to the house then turn around collect the “treasures” and then repeat.

While the cat’s away…..
…………. the mice will play! Bill is at Secret Church so Will and I have been partying it up tonight. We started our evening with a dinner date at Shogun – I had sushi and Will had hibachi chicken that he gladly shared with his Mommy. Then we went to 2 parties! One was for the Teller’s and was at a park in Brentwood. It was fun and Will got super dirty and maybe a black eye (we’ll see if it is black and blue in the morning). And our Sunday school class had a game night which was a lot of fun. We stayed out an hour after bedtime! This is what Will did this afternoon:

Toilet? Potty? Toy?
Yesterday after lunch I needed to jump in the shower before heading out to grocery shop. Usually Will plays quietly with the stuff under the sink but I had also given him a few “goldfish” and his sippy cup to entertain him. He was being unusually quite and when I opened the shower door this is what I found (of course I ran to get the camera before stopping him):
So nasty! What is the grossest thing your kids have “played” with?

Books, Books & More Books
Will loves to read books. He cannot get enough of them. We literally spend at least 2 hours a day reading books. The cutest thing is that he has his favorites. He will go through his books and pick out the exact one he wants to read. Then he plops himself in our laps. And he has a long attention span – sometimes we read 15 or 20 books in a row.
This is the stack of books we read this morning. It is about 15 books and we read several of them more than 2 times!
Reading makes Will so happy!
So very happy.

Spring Pictures
Last week we took Will to downtown Franklin to take some spring pictures. I think they turned out really cute – even if he wasn’t in a “smiley” mood! Historic downtown Franklin is a pretty place with lots of fun shops to browse.
