Home

Our first house. The place where we……

…. moved in with only an air mattress and a couple of suitcases.

…. prepared for and anxiously awaited the arrival of Will.

…. learned how to take care of a baby and marveled at how wonderful he was.

…. celebrated a first birthday.

…. discovered how awesome snow is.

…. got into a little bit of trouble.

…. had a lot of fun with special friends.

…. built a special workroom with secret closet access.

…. had our first, first day of school experience.

…. prepared for and anxiously awaited the arrival of Thomas.

…. took a chance and completely re-did our kitchen.

…. became brothers and best friends.

…. our family grew, matured and thrived.

This house has become our home.

It took me 9 years away, 7 years of marriage, living in 3 cities, 2 kids & owning 1 house for something other than Chattanooga and my parents house to feel like “home.” And now Chattanooga will be home again.

In 3 short weeks we will be moving to Chattanooga as Bill has been offered and accepted a job at a digital marketing firm as a Digital Strategist. We are super excited! We are super sad. It just depends on when you ask and who is asking. We truly love our community of friends and our church family and will miss them so much. But we are excited to be close to our families – especially while our kids are young. The next 3 weeks are going to fly by and we are going to squeeze in as much fun & friend time as possible. So if you’re interested in dinner, the zoo, the playground or storytime let us know so we can plan a date :)

We’re Home!

We have spent the past few days in New Orleans! And today we have been catching up on our napping – at least Will and I have, Bill had to work (yuck!)

Tomorrow I will update with some fun pictures of the weekend. Thanks Tipton’s for having us as guests :)
