Gerber Babies

Hello? Did anyone think I had fallen off the face of the earth? I have lots of things to blog about but we’ll start with something quick and easy. Every body I know has their baby entered into the Gerber photo contest so I had to too. If you want to vote for Will & Thomas through Facebook. You can vote 1 time every day for the next 20 days.

Gymnastics

Since last November Will has been taking gymnastics classes at the Gymnastics Center of Chattanooga. He absolutely LOVES it. He decided he wanted to try Upward Soccer this fall so last week was his last gymnastics class. Of course, I had to follow him around and take his picture! I’m going to miss watching him each week flip, run, jump & act plain crazy. I might be {not so} secretly hoping that he will want to do gymnastics again. But, there’s always preschool open gym days with our friends.

Running to warm up.

Every week they get to jump into the foam pit and crawl across. It’s Will’s favorite thing.

Jumping like a bunny on the “balance beam”

I’m pretty sure he was telling those girls to move out of the way!

Will dove head first into the foam pit. Every. Single. Time.

Company Fun Day

This past Saturday Bill’s company had a Family Fun Day. It was at a horse show in N. Georgia and we all had a good time. The boys especially loved all the animals!

Bill & Will in the petting zoo. There were goats, chickens, sheep, a duck, a pig and rabbits. Thomas really liked the petting zoo part too.

Will was so cute holding the rabbit. He asked if he could have a rabbit at his house. {Of course, Bill was ready to go and get one since he had a rabbit when he was in elementary school.}

Next up was horse rides – Will rode twice.

Of course, Thomas had to ride too.

While Thomas and I checked out the horse competition, Will waited in line to ride the mechanical bull. What a cowboy!

Thomas’ favorite part of the night was definitely the popcorn!

Good Times with Good Friends

The entire month of September we spent as much time as we could with friends. By the end of the month Will was asking, “What friends are we eating with today?” It was a really great month with friends and I wish we could live every month that way – although it might be a bit exhausting :)

Will had a fun cookie snack with his friend Justin – and Justin was a great picture taker while Will just stuffed his face!

Reagan (Justin’s sister) and Thomas playing. They don’t look very happy in this picture but I promise they were having a fun time. Reagan is about 4 weeks older than Thomas but she was crawling all over the place while Thomas was content to sit in the baby swing.

We also spent a fun morning with Thomas’ friend Ava. They were so cute together – and Thomas was showing off by sticking out his tongue.

We had dinner and played with Avery who is a little over a month older than Thomas. They were so funny because they only wanted to play with the toy that the other one had and they were passing/pulling it back and forth.

Judge is one of Will’s best “school” friends. They have so much fun together!

Our last full day in Nashville we spent the day with lots of friends! It worked out perfectly that we were able to meet Annie in real life (her parents moved to Alabama before she was born).

I wanted to get a picture of all of us with all our kids and everyone was pretty cooperative – except for Will. I had to put my hand on him just to keep him on the couch! My silly boy – we’ll pretend it was because he was sad to be leaving his friends.

Chuck E. Cheese Celebration

Honey had to spend a couple of days in Nashville for work and it’s always a treat to have a guest! Will loves when people spend the night in his room – but watch out because he will crawl into bed with you :)

Papa sent some money to take the boys to Chuck E. Cheese – and we thought it would be a great way to celebrate Will’s first day of preschool. So after a fun day at preschool and a good long nap we headed out to play and eat pizza.

The Bob the Builder ride was a popular choice. I think Will rode it at least 6 times in a row.

This was Thomas’ first trip to Chuck E. Cheese and he loved all the bright lights!

At one point we looked over and found the boys in the crazy simulator contraption.

Thomas sat on the Merry Go Round like he knew just what to do.

When we were eating a teenage boy that worked there was cleaning/fixing a table near us and we were watching him. He looked over and said something and I said that we were just sitting there wishing that he would go and put on the Chuck E. Cheese because it would make a 2 year old really happy. A few minutes later – out came the mouse!!

Chuck E. Cheese had a sign that said “Follow Me for Free Tickets” and Will was at the front of the line.

All the kids had to do a dance and then they threw tickets out for the kids to gather up.

Thank you Papa & Honey for a fun night at Chuck E. Cheese
