Five Minute Friday: When I Look In The Mirror

Every Friday, The Gypsy Mama, posts a writing prompt on her blog. And then lots of bloggers write about the topic for 5 minutes. It’s fun to read how other people view the prompt and it’s a great way to have a fresh blog posts on Friday’s without having to think too hard! This week’s prompt is: “When I Look In The Mirror.”

Go:

Some days when I look in the mirror I can’t believe that this is actually my life. Am I really old enough to be married and have 2 boys? Am I responsible enough? Am I mature enough? I look in the mirror and see someone who is suppose to know all the answers for her 2 boys yet someone who is still trying to figure out life herself.

I look in the mirror and see someone who is suppose to know all the answers for her 2 boys yet someone who is still trying to figure out life herself. It’s an odd place to be. I see someone who is constantly learning, growing and becoming who God wants her to be. A girl/woman/wife/daughter/sister/mom/friend who is trying and growing and becoming.

Stop.

Sweet blog and picture. Trying, growing, and becoming is what pleases God. Perfection never comes on this earth!

At least you still see YOU…I look in the mirror and see my mother and grandmother…the circle of life goes on! Dad and I have a question about the picture!

This is the most precious picture. I’m gonna get

Kalah to print it for me when she comes.

What a precious picture: You’re right Doll when you say you’re still learning. Life is wonderful and full of all these glorious experiences. I, too, am still in the learning mode! Lifetime journey!!
