Weekend Update

Bill and I had a very relaxing yet productive weekend while Will was being spoiled in Chattanooga.

Thursday night we went to the taping of CMA’s Country Christmas. It was fun to see all the singers perform live and it will be interesting to see what it looks like on TV compared to reality. Lots of big stars performed including: Sugarland, Little Big Town, Rascal Flats, Reba, Kellie Pickler, Martina McBride, Darius Rucker, Leann Rimes, & Brad Paisley.

Friday was glorious. I slept in, made a shopping list, scoured the internet for coupons and checked the balances on several giftcards I had. Then, I headed out to do some Christmas shopping. It was so fun! The only thing that would have made it better would have been cold weather – not 75*. I couldn’t listen to Christmas music or drink hot chocolate when it was that hot out! Bill met me in Cool Springs for dinner and a little more shopping.

Saturday Bill said he was going to “sleep in” and was out of bed by 8. Gee, he’s getting old :) We did a lot around the house including painting Will’s room to get it ready for Thomas, laundry, organizing baby clothes and a little more Christmas shopping.

On Sunday Will came home and we were worried that his room being a different color would “traumatize” him but I don’t think he even noticed! Now, we just have sell our desk and paint Will’s new room and then we’ll make the big move across the hall!

So nice you and Bill had a good time and also productive. We had a nice time playing with Will while he was in Chatt. We’re all getting excited with the anticipation of Thomas. Take care and don’t work too hard.
