Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. We are sorting through a lot of the same questions and ideas. I think for me a large part of it is learning to be dependent upon God–and no other. It is very easy for me to use money as a crutch and create my own security instead of relying on God. But when I finally do let go a little bit and rely upon Him instead, it is so freeing! Thanks for the encouragement.

i love your thoughts! this is a continual journey for us as well. we are always trying to challenge ourselves with questions regarding the motivation behind our money use and savings.
i’m so encouraged by the way you and bill are thinking through this too!
